Why Pet Owners Choose Us

Three things that shape every visit here, whether your pet is in for a vaccine or a surgery.

Family Owned Since 1950

This clinic has been family owned since 1950. The people caring for your pet have a personal stake in the practice, not a quota handed down from a head office.

Independent by Choice

No corporate group sets our protocols or how long an appointment lasts. Every recommendation is made in the exam room, between the veterinarian and you.

Focused on Dogs and Cats

Our medicine and pharmacy are built around dogs and cats. That focus means a team that has seen your pet's problem before and knows what usually helps.

Welcome to Montclair Animal Clinic

Dog and Cat Veterinarian in Denver, CO

A visit here starts with a full nose-to-tail exam and a conversation. We ask how your pet eats, sleeps, moves and behaves at home, because those details often explain more than a single test. You leave knowing what we found and why we recommend each next step.

New to the clinic? Fill out your paperwork on our new client page before the first visit, then call (303) 377-2779 or book online.

Our Services

Wellness Exams and Vaccinations

Wellness exams and vaccinations keep small problems from becoming big ones. Each year we check your dog or cat from teeth to tail, compare the findings with the last visit and set vaccines around their age and lifestyle. Parasite prevention is part of the same plan.

Puppy and Kitten Care

Puppy and kitten care covers the first months that shape a pet’s whole life. We space out early vaccines and deworming, place a microchip and talk you through feeding, house training and early behavior.

Learn More

Dental Care

Dental care matters because most dental disease sits below the gumline, where you cannot see it. We clean, polish and examine every tooth under anesthesia and treat painful teeth before they affect eating or overall health.

Learn More

Surgery and Anesthesia

Surgery and anesthesia start with pre-anesthetic bloodwork, so we know your pet is ready before the procedure. From spay and neuter to other common surgeries, your dog or cat is monitored throughout and goes home with a pain management plan.

Digital X-Rays and Diagnostics

Digital x-rays, ultrasound and our in-house laboratory give us answers during the visit instead of days later. When your pet is limping, vomiting or simply not acting right, we can look inside, run bloodwork and start treatment sooner.

Senior Care and Hospice

Senior care helps older dogs and cats stay comfortable as their needs change. We screen for arthritis, kidney and thyroid changes, adjust medication and diet, and when the time comes, offer gentle hospice and euthanasia care.
